Silhouette matches and the NEF Sportster
« on: July 27, 2006, 03:41:49 PM »
Would the NEF Sportster in .22 caliber be a good choice for smallbore silhouette matches? Does anyone use one in matches? Seems to me it would work perfect for this type of match witha good 16X scope on top. Breaks down easy, loads fast and single shot.

What are you thoughts? I do appreciate it.

No, it's not a dumb question, but I think you'll have better luck at getting your answer in either the Rifle Silhouette forum here or at www.rimfirecentral.com

i do happen to use a sportster in silo, i have a 6x24x50 sitting a top. seems to shoot std vel pretty good. trigger doesnt help with the little animals though. i shoot a contender rifle for my "heavy" gun

i have to say that the nef holds better with my handi rifles wood stock .

have fun  gotta love small bore silhouette
