High cap. mags,

Hi Fellas___ just came from Gun show  got a couple of high cap. mags(SCHERER) for  my 27, are they any good (reliable).  Any body using them, what do you think. THANKS  BAYRUNNER

Never had any mags but Glock.  and yes not having last shot hold open is a big problem, it's a magazine defect if it doesn't do it with a Glock mag.
    The problem being, every time you do an "in battery" reload, (the gun is closed) now you have to cycle the side by hand, to make sure that you have one under the firing pin.  
     With the last shot open feature, you ave a visual clue that the gun is dry.  My habit and practice, is that if you have a lull in the action during a gun fight, and you can think that clearly :eek: , reload, save your partial mag, and cycle the action to be darn sure one is back under the hammer.  'Click!' stinks. :D

Hi Jeffd___ I appreciate the input, I'll check the rest of my glock mags. if they all stay open,I'm not sure if I should return them or not , its nice to have a few high caps for my 27. what would you do THANKS

If you're bent on keeping the mags, and you think you would ever use the gun for IDPA or self defense, I sure would rack the slide after every reload.  You will shoot under pressure,  how you train.  Good shooting! :D
