Pre-64 Model 70 scope and rings.
« on: August 27, 2006, 11:32:09 AM »
I recently picked up a Winchester standard grade Model 70 in 30-06 that was manufactured in 1954.  I now need a scope, bases, and rings so that I can shoot it.  I would like to put an old scope and rings on it from the 1930's, 40's, or 50's.  Any suggestions on what to use?  Lyman Alaskan?

How about an old Redfield scope (power and type your choice) with Redfield bases.
Can "find" all that type of stuff on E-Bay.
