I bought a Redfield Tracker 3-9x40mm back in 1993 or 94 for my Remington model 700 Classic in 25-06 Rem. I traded that rifle for another Remington 700 Classic this time in 280 Rem.! I kept the scope and put it on the 280 Rem. I've been planning on putting a Leupold VX-II scope on it but I gotta tell ya.................I'm pretty happy with the Redfield. It's been an outstanding scope!  :)

I use an older fixed 4x Redfield. It's always been a good scope for me, Clear and bright, and a huge field of view. Good in the woods with me.

The Accu trac scopes with the rangefinding retile command more of a premium than the STD tracker scopes do but both have top notch optics . I have a 3x9x40 Accu trac on my Savage99 in .243
