impressed with Max
« on: August 27, 2006, 02:51:11 AM »
Finally, after a month or so, I finally got my .357 max out to the range.  Wow!  I just can't figure why anyone traded this in.  Tried it at 50 yds and had to adjust a bit to the left.  Next 3 shots went right where I wanted.  Deiced, hey why not and shot to see if I could whack the gong out at 100yrds.   Two shots two gongs!  I'm satisfied!  :)

YUP, its a GREAT cartridge in a Handi!!!

You can teach the youngsters with 38s and then graduate into the 357 mags than take a deer with a maxi a bit later....it does it all!!!

 I too ove my maxi!!!

I love mine.  And I have never heard anyone who has one say anything negative.  It is a great cartridge.  I can't figure out why the factory doesn't just make the max instead of the mag.

Glad to here that. My 357 Mag is at the Gunsmiths now being converted to 357 Max. Can't wait to get it back and give it a try.
shot placement is everything.
