Nsow that doc smith done went and sent his action off for another barrel I am going to have to do like wise or he will gain on me in the handi race. dI have been thinking of 500 S/W. Any one have one? How do they shoot? And hows the recoil. I shoot a BC 45/70 a lot and it doesnt bother me. Thanks in advance for any replys.

Don't be jealous, you already have a 204.  did you see the collection old Quick has?

There is a NUMBER of us on here with more handis than any one person has a right to...gotta LOVE it!!!

I have a 500, with the heavier loads the recoil is right up there with the heaviest kickers found in a Handi. I would call it stout.

I am still working on the accuracy part...I was able to get 2" @ 100 no problem.
