Red Dot load for Trap
« on: August 24, 2006, 01:43:43 PM »
Does anyone have a load using Red Dot powder, 1 1/8 of shot, and a AA hull?

I need some trap shells and I have a #8 keg of Red Dot.

Thanks

Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.

My load for 35 years now, has been 18 grains of Red dot, AA Casing, 209 primer, AA12 wad and 1 1/8 oz shot.  They seem to work just fine and cases last nearly forever.  When we load these, we fill drywall buckets full and then go to the back 40.
