sling swivel studs

I am working on finnishing my Gunstocks inc target varmint forarm, and wanted to know if the positioning of the sling studs makes any difference.  I don't plan on using it much for an actual sling more for the bipod attachment point.  I know the composite forarm form Choat has a moveable bipod attachment point.  What are some of the thoughts on this??

Aaron(myarmor) mounted a stud close to the hinge, worked great. If the search was working, I'd find his post for ya. The google search doesn't work well at all, unfortunately.

Yeap, I installed it about 1/2 away from the lower bottom piece.



Like Tim said, it shoots great like this, though it is challanging to hold steady, but not impossible. Especially when you have a good close rest and can hold firmly with both hands...usually my left elbow pointing forward with my hand under supporting the bottom of the buttstock. A little practice and it's not bad.
