Who to put a 3/8" or .4" dot in my Elite 4200?
« on: August 26, 2006, 05:49:51 AM »
Hopefully, my number will be up with Mark Pharr soon so he can put my gun together. By that time, I'd like to have my Elite 4200 with a bigger dot in it. The 1/2" dots are a little too big for my tastes, but I like the 3/8" or .4" target dots in other people's scopes that I've tried. Who can I get to put  dot that size into my Elite without voiding the warranty and that can do it fairly quickly (as in a couple weeks, not a couple months)?

Thanks!

MIght want to check with Bushnell about the warranty issuie... I know that they don't do the 3/8 dot, but they might not warranty one once someone has been inside their scope...

Also might want to think about going up in power and turn back down if that makes sence...example...

If you like a 3/8 MOA dot.... Get the 8-32x elite with the 1/4MOA dot, bushnell can confirm but I think it's ~ 3/8 MOA at 24X, confirm this...

32X= 1/4 MOA
24X = 3/8MOA
16X = 1/2 MOA
8x = 1 MOA

I know the 8x and 32x figgures are correct, been a while since I checked the others

I already have the 6-24X model of the Elite and don't intend to spend $400 for an 8-32X scope just to get a different dot size. Apparently I somehow didn't make that clear. :)
