Walmart Quitting the Scope Business?
« on: October 09, 2004, 11:09:45 AM »
It seems like the Walmarts around here are getting rid of their scopes. I bought a new Bushnell 3200 today for $151.00. All of them were really reduced.   Some of the stores don't seem to have scopes anymore.

WalMart does this every year. Its their time of year to get rid of the old and make room for the new at least as far as firearms go. I also bought a 3200 Bushnell for $151 new in the box in the Fort Worth area. Some of the rifles and other items are also heavily discounted.

It seems like Walmart is quitting the gun business too.

Only in about 1000 stores that have poor firearms sales. I have 2 Walmarts here, both still sell firearms.

At least your Walmart carries a 3200 model.  None of them around here do.  Selection is pretty limited.

What's with all of the dead threads coming back from the grave today. This one's over 2 years old.
