Welcome to GB and congrats on that nice bear!! Give us details.... what did you shoot him with and how far did he travel after the shot, range etc........

I shot him at about 35 yards with my new Remington XCR in .338 RUM using my handload consisting of a Nosler 225 AccuBond and
101 grains of Hodgdon Retumbo powder.
I aimed at the crease between the shoulder and rib cage.
At the shot the bear did a complete somersault and rolled over to get his feet back under him.
He took about 3 or 4 strides,went down,and moaned once and it was over.
All in about 5-10 seconds.
