Pro Hunter Camo forearm flextech
« on: September 05, 2006, 03:30:26 PM »
I just wanted to say that I have been reading this forum for a while and find it quite informative and I decided to post a question. I bought a new camo thumbhole pro hunter 50 cal ml. Which I had to send back the day after I got it,  But that is another story. The forearm on my gun is just a plain camo forearm no flextech. Which I noticed when I got home and started to check it out closer. I called the dealer I bought it from thinking he might have swapped the forearm or put it together from pieces. He informed me that it was the stock that came on it and he had sold three others that were the same. He said he would call T.C. The lady told him it had the wrong forearm on it and he was told they would send him the camo flextech forearm. Then two days later he called me and said T.C. called him and said that the gun had the right forearm on it. I later called T.C. and talked to a man and he informed they were not shipping any of the flextech camo forearms yet (this was about four to six weeks ago) and that the gun had the correct forearm on it. Well I have seen the guns with the flextech forearm now and it kinda upsets me I feel like I got cheated on my gun. After all if I am not mistaken it states in the specs for the prohunter flextech stock and forearm. Please let me know what you think. Should I call demanding the right forearm?

TRM,

I'm kind of in the middle on this one. I have a new PH with the flex stock and forarm. I like the stock but the forarm isn't something that I get all that excited about.   Quite frankly, It's just a piece of plastic with some souped up rubber gizmos glued on to it.

So, if you like the current forarm that you have, keep it. If you really want the new style, call T\C and tell 'em you didn't get what you paid for.

I think It's a personal choice.

Dave.
