One of the SAMCC members has offered to let me use his field gun for shooting in the club shooting.  He was very matter of fact to say that the carrige was  need of repair, but I was most welcome to use the gun.

The gun is 56 caliber and has a bronze tube.







If you look closly at the side view you will see that the wheel has been broken and repaired.  I think I am going to order a couple of replacement wheels and see if I can make this cannon shoot!
