Problem with my new Rem750

Today i went to shooting range, i got lot of jamming on rifle. When fired the rifle and didnt pick up the bullet into chamber. I am wondering did the bullets made the jam? I am shooting .308 win with 150 grain remington core-lokt. Should i try different grain like more heavy or it is just about too much oil in chamber?

Make sure your chamber is clean and free of oil--- dry dry dry. Also check your scope screws to make sure they are not protruding too far inside the receiver and interferring with the breach-block as they were on my new 750. Check my thread for more info on this. The factory ammo should shoot O.K. at least it sure does in mine.
Best of luck!!!

You were right, i did tight the scope screw, it was so hard. I remove it, scope and everyhting. I am going to use iron sights this year.
