i
i read a lot of post's  where guys have trubble with there guns poping open even when the lock up area is nice and dry free from oil etc ,this is just my opinion but why dont h&r listen to the feed back and change the lock up to a beter desinge it could be done. why not dooing it more like the old wurfflein lockup it could be done without moving the release catch it could be done with a toggle system,if they did that it would be no more popopens. i dont think it would add  much to the cost the cun and would add to the safty aspect of the firearm ,probebly add to accuresy just my opinion for those that dont no what the lock up of the wurfflein looks like  heres a pic.

It would add considerable cost, and why should they change a design that's works so well for so many shooters for so long? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  ;)
