Does anyone know any? I had one call me even before I recieved offical notification that I drew a tag. Is that normal? It kind of smacks of 'ambulance chasing' to me. He tried to sell me a hunt before I knew I was going hunting.
Elk hunting is so new in PA that most internet searches some up pretty empty as far as actual guides and outfitters. The Game commission is supposed to be sending me a list of state certified guides, but if, by chance anyone has first hand info, that would be AWESOME!
Also, what are the right questions to ask? Pitfalls to watch out for? It's my first hunt and I've got about a month to get it set up. The season is Nov 5-11.
