Well ... I guess it was just a matter of time!
(This is from another place - I did not write it.)Wild West Guns' new S&W .500 Magnum Lever Action Yowza! Until I handled this beauty, I never thought I'd buy a lever action. I handled the all-stainless version with 18.5-inch ported barrel. I immediately ordered one with Ken, one with a 16.5-inch barrel. I was able to snap some photos of it:
This one shows the hammer when it is lowered:
And, this one shows the hammer in the "safe" position, with the top part pushed forward.
This thing uses a really beefed up locking block (its is on the left, and a standard one is on the right):
I can't wait to get mine! It seems like the perfect pig-hunting carbine.
