I have several Banner 3X9's that I've purchased over the past three years. Each has performed well with no problems to date. I have them on Handi's in .270, .280, .30-06 & .44 Mag. The .30-06 probably has over 300 rounds (most of them 180's) through it with the Banner and is the hardest recoiling Handi I own.
I also have a Tasco that I bought around 1975. Its a 3X9X32 Wide View. It was on a Marlin 336 for a couple years and has been on a Rem 700 .30-06 since around 1977. Its still going strong. Frankly, I've had pretty good luck with a couple late model Tasco's I bought from Wal Mart (fingers crossed,LOL). One each was mounted on sporterized British Enfiled's. I bought them based on the performance of my older Tasco, but then started reading about the problems with less expensive scopes. They now are on .22's. but neither one have given me any problems and they are probably 4-5 years old now.
