I remember that someone at one time made a 75 rd. drum magazine for the SKS.  Does anyone know where, if any can be bought?

I did see all this sks stuff years ago but I haven't seen anything lately which I regret I didn't buy anything either and back then it was dirt cheap. I think the one at sportsmansguide is the "ak' drum mag which doesn't fit the sks. You may want to try to finding some 30rd mags which some say don't work But I have a few that work great once you adjust them and oil the mag so the feeder slides free and it won't stick. I think this is the main problem with some of the newer gun guys they don't do maintanence on the mags. Everything in the gun needs maintanence.           BigBill

I also bought some plastic 5 and 10rd mags for hunting while i'm not thrilled about them(plastic) they do work.

Stuffy I found SKS drum mags at Hitach  the number is #CLP460-sks 75rd drum mag $299.95                             BigBill

Checked on the 75 rd. mag, they are out of stock.  Thou I have to tell you, $300. is more than I was willing to pay.  Seen them at the gun shows for $150. but that doesn't mean that is what they will be asking the next time I see one.

I would wait till you see one cheap at a gun show for sure even $300 is very steep for me too. I use the 30rd mags but it just ain't the same as having a 75rd drum sure would be neat to have one. All I see at shows here is the ak drum mag.                       BigBill
