TC Triumph

Hello,
I joined this forum recently. I've been shooting muzzleloaders for many years, but mostly traditional rifles. More recently I got bitten by the inline bug. I'm planning on getting a .50 cal inline shortly. I had pretty much decided I was gonna get an Omega. But I just handled a TC Triumph and now I'm trying to decide between the Omega and the Triumph.
I've seen many posts and reviews on the Omega, but nearly none on the Triumph. Does anyone have any experience with the Triumph?

The Triumph is new for this year, they are just starting to come out on shelves. Reviews are sure to come later this year after people start getting them and trying them out. The Omega is a tried and true rifle, some love them and some don't. The Triumph is really an upgraded Omega with a larger trigger guard and fingers removal breechplug. I would go with the Triumph if your not afraid of this first year muzzleloader. The TC warranty is one of the best in todays market also and they will take care of any problems you may have.

Actually the one I held felt more cheaply made.  The plastic felt like a soda bottle. This coming from a dyed in the wool T/C man.  It in no way shouldered as nice as the omega.  The triumph is like a savage to me-- If someone gave it to me I might use it but I wont buy it.

He couldn't get any closer to the truth if he tried.  And most of the haters would probably not have had accuracy issues if they had tried more than just pellets or less than magnum charge.

The TC warranty is one of the best in todays market also and they will take care of any problems you may have.

The only company who comes close to T/c cust service is knight.  They stand by their product and handle problems quickly.

Hi Guys new to the site. I own a triumph in the blued black synthetic. I like the feel of it and how it shoots. It shoots well and handles very well. at 100 yards it shoots 2 inch groups with 240 grain hornady xtp bullets and a harvestor crush rib sabot. I use Jim shockey gold 2f 100 grains and am very pleased. The ease of breech plug removal is very nice and clean up is a breeze. I would recommend it to anyone. Paid 375 for the gun. I think if it as a cross between an encore and omega.

For weeks I couldn't decide... The Omega has been around for quite some time, with many positive reviews. On the other hand I found the new design features of the Triumph (tip-up barrel, quick removal breech plug) very clever and functional. But I've always been a little reluctant when it comes to first-year guns. Looks were not a consideration. And neither the Omega nor the Triumph would fit me very well (ergonomically). Then I shouldered a thumb-hole stock Omega... It was instant love! Very good fit. I couldn't go back home without it...
