What WWG mods are any significant improvement in 1895GS?
« on: September 18, 2006, 02:55:19 PM »
I'm getting a Marlin 1895G 45/70.Going to put Williams WGRS receiver sight [ with twilight aperture] and a slip-on recoil pad-to lengthen l.o.p.
What,if any,Wild West Guns' parts, really improve reliability?
Thanks.

I like the large lever, it really helps with recoil.  Its especially nice if you have big hands like I do.   THe WWG trigger is also MUCH better than the standard trigger and is very worth purchasing.  The ejector is stronger, weather you need it or not I still got it as it was fiarly inexpensive.   THe aluminum magazine tube cap is much better looking than the plastic one too.    That is about all there is to them.
