went bow hunting in florida this past weekend

Our bow season in florida started this past weekend....
Man was it hot!...94 in the shade saturday afternoon
The saturday morning hunt was uneventful....heard
a few deer walking through the swamp...wind checking the
foodplot...Got Busted....Just like the commercial on the outdoor channel..
Saturday afternoon hunt was not much better...A momma bear and
her two cubs strolled in and got within fifteen yards of my ladder stand...
scared them off and probably everthing else in the area....another member
of the club missed a doe...and also saw a pretty big bear too...
Sunday was not much better....I used my summit climbing stand and sat
in the canopy...and i think every owl in the neighborhood came by to
check me out...I think is just too hot out.....How did everyone else do?

Buddy, I feel for you, being a Texas girl I know how that sweltering heat can just stifle you to near death! The Illinois Opener is today. My husband and I fixing to leave in about an hour! It's pretty warm today compared to yesterday that was ideal cool weather. Today the sun is out already near 81 degrees!
