Finally bloodied my USH on a 70lb boar Friday night
« on: September 17, 2006, 08:00:43 AM »
I bought an 12 guage USH back in January based on the advice of this forum.  I decided on a simmons 4x32 prodiamond scope and used remington copper solids.  I love the gun and finally shot a hog from about 45 yards.  He dropped dead in his tracks and kicked for about 30 seconds.  I only wasted the neck roast.  Thanks to all for the awesome posts on scopes, ammunition, how to sight in, mounting scope, etc.

Sorry no pics yet.  I had to use a disposable camera as that was all I had in the truck.  Now if I can only figure out how to butcher the hog...  Cleaning was smelly but not too bad.  A lot like the smelly diapers I've changed when the wife is out in town.
