Man I did a serious trade the other dayon a rifle that I traded off 2 to 3 yrs ago at the same dealer. The dealer never sold my savage 99 243 that I traded him for a handgun so I walk in with a smith 29-2 used and 100.00 to boot and took home my original rifle I got back new in box 12 month of 1996. See this rifle has never been fired. And still looks brandnew in which it is too me. They meaning savage don't make this mod anymore that I am aware of. I been going on a Lever craze again.
