FYI I am fortunate to live in an excellent area for moose. In a typical year we will pass up 5-10 bulls before pulling the trigger.
If you hunted in my area I'm sure you would have similar success.
  :)

Pics of bulls we called in this year... all Sep/Oct 2006.

We called this bull right into camp. It's about a 42" bull.

This bull was in an area about 4 miles west of our camp. 11:15 A.M. Another ~40" bull. That is Sheldon grunting to the bull.

Called this bull in at 8:30 AM. Again it's about a 40" bull. We had a camera malfunction so by the time
I snapped this pic the bull was 150 yds out in the cutblock, it had been at 30 yds.

And the big bull my buddy Sheldon called out on opening morning. Too nice to let go but too early to fill the tag.
The picture does not do this bull justice...
