OK, after spending some quality time with my new burris 3x12 handgun scope I have found a problem. When the scope is set to 12x everything is blurred. The distance of the object does not matter, except that the further away the more it is blurred. This was done from 100 yrds to 1000yrds with most veiwing around the 300 yrd mark. I can turn it down to 3x and everything is crystal, but as I increase the magnification the blurring increases. I have adjusted the AO from 0 to Infinity and tried to refocus the eyepeice all along the way. It is bad enough that at 300 yrds I can't read the "UHAUL" on the side of a truck. At 800 yrds I can't even tell I am looking a building.
Am I missing something?
