SB2 Ultra .243 trouble
« on: September 25, 2006, 10:49:29 AM »
When at the range my receicer and barrell open after firing, causing inaccurate shots. I have had the gun for a couple of years and not hunted a whole lot with it. Any suggestions as to why? Any idea what it might cost to get fixed through H&R?

Thanks,
"B"

I am using factory ammo. 100 gr to 58 gr Hornady V-Max, they all open!

Welcome to GBO!! Read the Pop open medicine link in the FAQ and Help sticky. ;) If that doesn't help you can contact H&R to get them to fix it, their toll free number is in the FAQ also. Or read my barrel fitting instructions to see how to check latch engagement and learn how to fix it yourself if you're the DIY type.
