Survivor scope set up
« on: September 25, 2006, 01:07:46 PM »
I have new Survivor, .308 bull.  The trigger is Verry good, I couldn't believe it.  It is crisp and feels less that 3 lb.
How does everyone like theirs?  shoot good?
Any way, am scopeing it and am going to use Burris zee rings, heard they were good, and probabally a bushnell 3200 or Ledgend 3x9

What size rings should I get, I like scope as low as possible.

Please see the similar topic "Scope ring height of 22LR and .243 win. barrel",  down the page.

Here was my solution.

Standard height rings.  Just built up the comb.  I find it most excellent.

Hope this helps,

I used Medium rings w/ a 3x9-42mm Scope.  It fits nicely.  I also added a med size slip on Simms Recoil Pad.  It shoots very well.
