For deer and black bear a 260 grain bullet with 32 to 32.5 grains of H110 should be a lethal combination of lead and speed.
The Hodgdon manual lists 33 grains as a maximum charge of H110 for this bullet using rifle primers.

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.

Regardless of load suggestions from other, you need to experiment with different loads and see which one gives you the best performance in your gun. Like what has been posted many times, what works for my gun may not be as accurate in your gun.

... no offence intended ... but ... if perchance you miss (a bit) and totally p*ss the blackie off
and he gets to you before you can put another into the pipe, do you have a back up? ???

Every gun is different!  You should take Redhawk1's words to heart.  You will never know what load is the best for your gun without testing different loads in it.  Every gun I own, that I reload for, has had test loads worked through it.  This is the only way you can answer your own question.

Don't know about you, but load testing is the real fun.  Look at it this way, what better way to bond with your gun?

not too much to worry about with missing a black bear (attack) look at all the bowhunters, you can reload a lot faster then they can.  whole idea is to not miss, and to not miss with a bullet that will do the job.
the guys above covered that part well.  my two cents worth: use a fairly heavy bullet just in case you do get a chance at a big one.
average ones have been taken efficiently since indians used wooden arrows (have personally seen a good one taken with a 32-20, not my first choice).  i wouldn't want to wound a larger one because of not enough bullet.  whatever 300 gr bullet your gun shoots best would be what i always use.
put em where you want em
