Ogive (pronounced: oh-give)   Refers to the nose shape of a bullet.  The radius of the curve of a bullet nose.

I have a set of comparators that fit onto my caliper that is supposed to measure to the ogive of the bullet.  I bought the set from Midway at a fairly reasonable price as I recall.

If I can make it go bang it can't be that hard to do.
