Ramrod for tipped bullets
« on: October 01, 2006, 03:26:30 AM »
Has anyone modified their Huntsman ramrod to handle Power Belt tipped bullets?  With staandard ramrods I think you can buy a hollow screw-in end for the ramrod, but I see nothing for the non-standard Huntsman tips.

I had a gentleman from Canada make me a couple jags for tipped bullets, patching and they even have threads to lock the ramrod together. ;D I could probably go dig up his post, but I don't think he is making any more of them. I think he just made them because he wanted to be a nice guy. Matter of fact, I haven't even seen him post here in almost a year. The jags work great though. ;D

McD,

Long time no see. How are you doing? Have you found any nice bucks to hunt this year? I still think you have the record Whitetail with the Huntsman/Sidekick, that was a dandy. :) The jags work fine, and thanks again for making them for me. Good luck this fall.
