Kahr TP40 or Model TP4043
« on: March 14, 2007, 02:49:26 PM »
Hi Guys:

Kahr at their site says they are shipping the new TP40403 which is a 4" barrel 40S&W that weighs in at 19 ounces with another 2.2 ounces for one in the chamber and 7 in the extended grip magazine.  My first question is: Have any of you actually purchased and fired this new piece?  Q2: If so what did you think?  I used to have a Kahr KP4043 with the 3.5 inch barrel that weighed 16.8 ounces plus 1.9 ounces for one in spout and 6 in the magazine.

Due to a string of financial issues I sold it rather than dip into my retirement fund.  In any event I was very, very impressed with the KP4043 and am trying to decide whether to get a duplicate of the KP40, or go for the longer barrel and get the TP40.

Any comments and or helpful ideas are requested.

Thanks, 358Win
