What is your rifle problem pard? Maybe we can help. If it is a Marlin I might be able to even.
It gets smoother and a whole lot more easier as you go. I am fortunate to live in an area that has shoots every week. I miss one now and then these days, but when I started, I was shooting every week and having a ball. I have changed a lot of things from the first year or so. New alias, new sass number, new sixguns, new leather, new outfits to wear, but same good times and good friends. I still am like a kid on a pony, all smiles when I am at a shoot.
I do notice the adrenaline charge is gone now, but that might be good for a guy my age. You will find it gets real comfortable around your friends and you start having just serious fun with no gun breakdowns, because you have gotten it all worked out and things get smooth. You might go to one of the shooting schools to get your technique ironed out and become faster and faster, until you are at the top of the podium at EOT and autograph seekers are fighting to get near you, and your agent and body guards fight to keep the crushing crowds from getting at you . <RINGGGGGGG>
Uhhh, oh. Time to get up. Man I still have that reoccuring dream all the time.
Yawwwwwwn.
