Shot my 5th partridge today and blew feathers off of one that kept on going. Dang I hate to loose a bird like that from the feathers that flew it should have been a dead bird. I am getting these birds in one area less than a square mile. There still is a few left that I have seen and not got yet, but that is not to say that some one else may not either though I have only seen one other hunting in that area. He looked like a high schooler and was out with his girlfriend. After he seen me hunting the area he left and I have not seen any one else hunting them since. At least not when I have been around. There were a few birds in this area last year too I shot 4 there last year. I have heard that folks are seeing and getting a few birds about time since we had such a long bottom of their cycle.
