2nd deer with crossbow

 went rifle hunting sat SUCKED lost my spot to the cattle. any way went with a buddy today to a wma no guns just bows man i love this place. about 9:00 a seven pointer showed up had a small rack but a huge body. since ya cant eat the horns if its brown its down 10yrd brodside shot down for the count. i think i will bow hunt only from this point on. maybe a little black powder no modern gun for me....

 Congratulations thats great . Stick with what is working. I like the bows. I haven't tried a cross bow. I don't know if I could out right quit on the guns. I like them too. Were you in a blind for this one?  Are you done for the season, or do you have a few to go?   Good luck    D.C.

i was just sitting on the ground, my heart was beating so hard i think the buck heard it. i have two bonus tags for does maybe two more with the crossbow i hope...when i took my doe to the packing house i got back  two and a half bags of meat i knew i got screwed but what could i do? i went to a new packing house yesterday and they said my buck would make 10 to twelve bags so we will see. i think if i get anymore deer this year i will cut them my self i would have done my buck but after dragging him about a mile mostly up hill i was smoked. if any body hunts  around montgomery co i will let you know about the theifing packing house so they dont burn you to.
