For those of you looking for information on the TLA, John Taffin has a new book out called "The Gun Digest book of the 44" with a chapter devoted to TLA 44's. The book is available on amazon.com or get an autographed copy from John Taffin.

I suspect that is more redundant work that has already been written by him in Guns or AH magazines which are the basis for the majority of the content in his other books. They appear to be very much a "cut and paste" effort with little new material...

Hey Boxhead, how are ya? Glad to see you over here. Actually the new book has more new material and more detailed history than I have seen before. JT brings the reader closer to his own family as well as Skeeter and Elmer.
