41 mag jacketed 250 gr bullet
« on: October 09, 2006, 11:33:22 PM »
I noticed in the GB New Products forum a guy is offering jacketed 250 gr  bullets for the 41 mag.  I had just logged on to inquire if anybody but Hawk made such a bullet. The bullets look good so  I'm ordering 200. I clogged up my Marlin's rifling with cast bullets and would like to try something less likely to foul.

Now I'm looking for loading suggestions. I'm thinking of using starting loads for 250-265 gr cast bullets with H4227 and H110, maybe 2400.

Any warnings?

Oh, if you want to check out those bullets,  contact is jcunclejoe@aol.com.  Guess he was a tool maker for Nosler for a few years.
