Browning Rifle .243 Cal.
« on: May 14, 2007, 03:38:24 PM »
I have recently acquired a Browning Rifle .243 Cal. that was manufactured in Finland.  The Serial Number is 37XXX.  When I called Browning they told me that there are no records available for that weapon.  The gun is in pretty decent shape and I was looking for a service manual.  Browning did tell me that the Gun was that of a SAKO design.  Can anyone help me?

OK, I'll bite.  Help you with what?  Is there a question beyond wanting a service manual? Actually, I don't think they made any of those, not for the commercial market anyway.

Most firearm/rifle assembly manuals will show the parts break-down.  Just look for the Sako Forester rifles for info on your .243.
