It's supposed to arrive here some time tomorrow. I'd like to see that much fall here to help fill my new pond.

Oh, maybe a bit of rain is not so bad.

Buffalo NY got whacked with 30" of snow this week. Now, flood watches are up for the meltoff.

2 1/4 inches overnight and 80% chance of rain today---raining as we speak.
I can't comprhend 30" of snow. The run off is hurting you folks about now.
GB I think your pond may need to be larger if this thing carries on thru.

No flooding here, well except for some intersections. we have a good--and we need it--storm drains and water shed engineering in place. it takes more than what we have had to do much damage. Now this 6 inches in two or three hours would bring some carpet out to dry--thankfully  this is over a 24 hour period---but it has not stopped raining and the ground is saturated.
We will see.

I hate rain; I guess that's why God made Arizona.  We've had a fantastic summer and fall so far, but it did rain a little yesterday and if it does that any more this month I'm heading for Arizona.

Not looking good Bill, not looking good at all. We've had sprinkles only so far and it's looking like it's gonna move past to the west of us. The way it's moving right now is very very slightly east of due north but not enough east to reach us with more than the eastern fringe I don't think.

I was hoping to see the 2" to 4" they were predicting here to help fill the new pond but it's not gonna happen it don't look like. Still they are saing it will be with us thru at least tomorrow night, take a break Wednesday so I can go skeet shooting and be back again on Thursday and again on Sunday. I don't think either of the other two days of it are to be serious rain events tho so it looks like I'm gonna hafta keep waiting for the pond to fill up.

It will before spring tho.

If I were allowed to choose and not have need to be concerned with a Hen, the children or grandchildren I suspect I would be deep in the valley or southern Az---well maybe Corpus Christi.
But those choices are not in the mix.
Got to stay close to the folks.

We got 1.8" from it and it seems over. The radar shows no more rain in the state so I dumped the rain gage. Now we'll see what happens on Thursday and then Suday when the next two rounds are supposed to come.

I've not been down to the pond but Faye went earlier and said it was flowing in from the neighbor's place and when Phil went to get the mail awhile ago he said the pond was much deeper with water now. I'll take a look tomorrow I guess.

It started raining steady in my area yesterday afternoon, and continued raining throughout the night. We received 2.5" of precipitation, so far.
If at first you don't succeed, by all means try again. But if this doesn't work, give up, because there is no sense in making a darn fool of yourself.
