Bernie, Did you get him in Australia? How wide is it?Cool pic you don't see to many pic's of those.They say they get bigger body wise than the Cape's,because there not on the run as much,Dave.

I'm wondering where you'd try to place your shot, if he presented like he is in the photo...just beneath the chin, trying to break his neck? A heart shot looks pretty iffy. Or would one be better to try to get a more broadside shot by circling? Maybe the brain?
I'm curious.

i shot this one 25 years ago with a navey arms .58 buffalohunter muzzelloader one shot kill with a 625grn minii was working in the area so had no camarer at the time i could not bring the complete sckull home so i just took the horns they are a lot bigger than cape buffalow but not as mean as the cape but thats not to say they still wont kill ya.
