This came to me this morning, I hope it's OK to post here.
I will share it in an hour with my Church family,
thought I'd share it first with my online family!
Its a beautiful day, a new day.
On this day over 2000 years ago there was a renewal
From which the whole world had rebirth.
From which our Faith had its start
.
The resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
So impossible the Jews didnt believe it,
So profound, the Disciples didnt understand it,
But so simple, we didnt live it.
But on that day, mankind was renewed
Because of Easter Day, we have an everlasting hope.
A new seed was planted, imperishable, and incorruptible; everlasting.
And it grows to this day, that we might become part of it
In John 15: 5 Jesus says: "I am the vine; you are the branches.
We can become part of an everlasting vine.
All we have to do is become a branch, and produce fruit.
A thing so easy, the Jews dont believe it,
So simple the world doesnt understand it,
So daunting, we dont live it.
But as Jesus was resurrected from the grave,
So we can be resurrected from this life,
Because of Easter day.
