Rifled or smoothbore?  Hows the recoil in that light of a gun?

Rich

Does it have the iron sites ? I have a 12 Ga. Tracker 1 barrel that i was thinking of doing that with . just one to toss behind the seat if the truck .

For a general  knock around gun you can't beat an H&R . by the way how is the recoil with the syn.butt stock ?

I gots one of dem!!!  Mine has a rifled barrel but its the same as yours!!

Shoots pretty good, about 2" at fifty and on a softball at 100. Good enough for what I use it for, a grab and go, beat the brush gun.

Kicks like the dickens but what light 12ga shooting slugs dont??

Nice to see yours!!

Remington Sluggers it what mine likes best too!! The 2 3/4 variety. I have found the old ACTIV slug shoots really well too, just about impossible to find anymore. I have a couple boxes stuck away.

Funny a foster slug outshoots sabots oin a rifled barrel huh!

Looks great Fuzzy..glad it worked out..

  CWlongshot...

Yeah, It does seem funny that a rifle barrelled shotgun would shoot Fosters better than sabots...
...funny sure..but it sure saves $$$..

Since l;ast year my area of NY State has allowed rifles for big game. For all my hunting years using shotguns, including Ithaca pump and others, I finally settled upon H&R/NEF...because I found them to be the most accurate slug guns I could buy.

Here is my 12 gauge Shotty I put together for stomping thru the woods while stationed in Alaska. Although I own several NEF, this was made on a Western Field (Savage Mod 94). She will hold Rem or Win slugs in the 8" kill zone at 100 yds. Ya, it kicks. But when using it for whitetail I don't seem to notice.

  Funny isn't it...when sighting in, a light single shot 12 ga..kicks like a mule..

But when game is in the sights..you hardly feel it !...LOL
