Gunsmith in ohio

I am looking for some one to rechamber my savage 24v from a 357 mag to a 357 max. This is a over and under gun. Can anyone help?

That should be a simple reamer job, Take it to your local smith.

Why not rent a reamer and do it yourself , not a hard job at all , quite a few guys have done their H&R single shots by hand .

That's a good idea. This is a simple task, as the 357 max is simply a lengthened 357 mag. Just be sure to leave the rim clearance as it is now and all should work out just fine.

Thank you for all of the info. I am going to buy a reamer abd try it. Honestly I was just afriade of messing up the barrel. I have yet to see another one like it. I have seen them in diffent calibers but not this one. It is a Savage 24V D series 357/20 3"

   type in "chamber reamer Rentals"    check on yahoo,   Elk ridge is one place to rent one. ???
