Model 70 trigger question
« on: October 10, 2006, 03:30:56 AM »
Do all model 70 win have the adjustable triggers.  Mainly wondering about the ones from WalMart.  If so, what is the procedure for adjusting them DOWN to a lower pull strength?

Yes, and no.  The last M70 Featherweight that I bought in 2004 had a plastic/nylon wad formed around the threads, like a lock nut.  Removal wasn't difficult with the right chemical and tools, and further adjustment was a breeze.  I'll let you figure out the "how to".

Winchester triggers are easy to adjust and work well. Try this link..
