Question on Handi rifle barrel dimensions

Hi All

I have the youth model handi rifle in 223.  The one with iron sights.

I am thinking on buying the standard Handi rifle in 223 with just the scope mount.  What I am wondering is this, is the standard rifle barrel with scope mounts larger around then the youth one.  I would like a heavier barrel.

The Superlight youth with the 20" barrel has a very thin barrel, the standard 22" barrel has a heavier, but standard contour barrel which is  tapered, and the 24" barrel is a bull barrel. Any should work fine with your frame. The muzzle on standard barrels measure approx .675", bull barrels measure about .800".
