Data check 270 win 130 seirra and imr4831

I have old data for that that says max is 57 grains but I get pressure signs so I want to find the current max. IMR publishes 55.8 with the 130 hornady, that gives me a ball park but what does the Seirra manual say for this combo. Also what is the recommended COL.

My sierra manual  (second edition) has 57.1 max for there 130 grain. No suggested col. I shoot 130 flat base bulletts .03 off the lands. These are my best rounds. Hope this helps.   TVC15

Thanks, for the data. I'll have to double check my COL to make sure I am not into the lands. because @ 57 grains I have a sticky bolt lift and ejector marks, At 56.5 I have faint ejector marks

Just remember that not all guns will take max loads , what may be max for your rifle may be over max for mine  , that is why the powder companys state to start at 10% below max and work up .

Your rifle may be telling you that 56.5 is getting close to max for it .
