Anyone Used Muzzy MX-4 - 4 Blade Broadheads?
« on: October 15, 2006, 02:51:50 AM »
I have been shooting 100gr Rocket Steelhead expanding broadheads for about 3 seasons and do a great job and they get a good blood trail. Main problem is that a good shot or even a miss result in replacing bent blades. So I am looking at something more traditional and the new Muzzy MX-4 appears to fit the bill.

Anyone used the Muzzy MX-4 broadheads? Need some unbiased views on how they fly. I am shooting at actual 280+fps.

I have never had a lick of trouble from any Muzzy head; 90 gr. four blades included.  The penetration is awesome, and they are durable to enought to make you believe you can just wash them off after a kill and keep hunting.  Do replace the blades, and likely as not you can just keep on hunting.  8)
