Dove decoys and calls??

For some reason the thought of giving Mourning Dove calling and decoying a try this coming fall has popped up in my mind. I think (should I say I know) it is because I am currently trying to decide what to plant in the dove field to hunt over this fall. Are there any good books on the subject? Have any of you guys tried it before? My brother-in-law called 3  out of 4 birds back to us a couple of years ago.  I thought he was just being silly but it got my attention when birds I just knew were headed to another county decided to arc back to us to be shot at agian. He is an avid waterfowler and it didn't seem like a fluke at all to him for them to return. I just thought giving it a try might spice things up a bit especially when there isn't enough hunters to cover a field and keep'em stirred up. Hell, it might be fun and that's what it's all about! Give me some help with this guys.

Save your money for calls and decoys and plant sunflowers.  We've done it all on a semi-pro basis; wheat, corn, pasture, water holes, roosting trees, decoy trees, power lines, you name it.  The absolute winning recipe is a field of sunflowers with big round hay bales around the edge to stand beside to break your profile.

MOJO Dove Decoys.

I hunted this year up i the Mississippi Delta and one guy had 2 Mojo's. They worked like magnets to steel shavings. I plan on purchasing me 2 for next season. They work big time.
