First Deer with the sdiekick

Finaly bloodied the sidekick yesterday taking a nice 9 pointer.  I was shooting 348 gr power belt over 90 grains of pryodex select.  Shot the buck at 76 yards he sent only about three steps and fell.

Congratulations Dave! I envy you guys that have the early muzzleloader seasons, ours don't start until the first week of Dec, after the Nov 15-30 regular firearms season.

Good job Dave! I too took a nice deer. I hung around this site and came up with this ML. Fixed 6X simmons scope, survivor stock, 25 acp breech plug with 245 gr HP Powerbelt with 100 gr T7. Jumped him while walking draws. Took a running 70 yard shot and put it right behind his shoulder quartering away and he never took another step. Field dressed at 150 lbs. Never would have this fine weapon without this site and the fine folks that frequent it.

Good shootin fellas!! I got a Doe last year with my sidekick and another doe this year with my sidekick. 470 gr Maxi-Hunter and 100 gr Goex FFG. Jack.
