Hi guys,

i am new to the forum and have a couple of questions.

A local shop has a H&R in 30-30, blued with a black stock, looks to be in good conditon.  i can get it for 175 out the door, sound like a good price have not seen  many of these in the stores around here (Iowa).  Would love one in 45-70, and I have a winchester in 30-30 so ammo is not a prob.

Thanks again and looks like a great forum

Welcome to GB.
Buy the 30-30, it is a wonderful caliber one of the most suitable for the Handi and a good candidate for a 30-30 AI.

if its in good shape  price sounds fair to me,  if u want a 45/70  send it in  and have a barrel fitted, i wouldnt trade my 30  for much of anything, it really shoots well and rasy to  reload for , i even use  the 100 gr  in mine for plinkin around and short range  groungpiggy hunting
